What type of photos can be transformed into sparkled artwork?

Any photo that holds meaning for you can be turned into a bespoke, diamond-dusted artwork. This includes:

  • Wedding & engagement photos
  • Family portraits
  • Pet portraits — perfect for honouring your furry companions
  • Graduation photos — celebrate achievements with a touch of sparkle
  • Baby & maternity photos
  • Memorial or tribute photos
  • Favourite art pieces or illustrations — transform your beloved artwork into a sparkling display

What Kind of Photos Work Best?

  • Bright, high-resolution images (Avoid mobile screenshots or low-quality images)
  • Larger print sizes reveal more detail, depth, and dimension
  • Subjects with clear details and contrast
  • Vibrant colours or bold tones
  • Black & White option is available

Personally, I don’t recommend all black coloured photo

📌Tip: Images that include clothing, accessories, or textured fabrics beautifully highlight the sparkle. The clearer the photo, the more precise and stunning the sparkle placement will be.

📌Please note: The images shown in our catalogue are sample displays only. In your actual artwork, your photo will be carefully edited so the main subjects are highlighted and the background is minimised — ensuring your sparkle and details are truly worth your investment.

However, if you’d like the background or certain elements highlighted, you can note this in your order and I will accommodate your preference.

What are the Sizes Available?

Standard Print Sizes: A5, A4, A3, 30 x 40cm

Border Options:

  • Borderless- available on all sizes
  • 2 cm White Border- available for A4 & A3 only

If you are looking for a different size, please contact me directly– I'd love to assist and check what we can custom- create for you.

Otherwise, stay tuned as we continue to add more size options to our collection.

Handcrafted Sparkle

While I use my artistic discretion for dust placement, I warmly welcome your requests and will accommodate them whenever possible.

For now, I’m unable to offer full-page sparkle for sizes larger than A5. However, stay tuned — this will be included in future listings as Ardor & Dust continues to grow. 

Is the Frame included?

No, the frame is not included.

This allows you the freedom to choose a frame that best matches your style, home décor, or event theme. You can customise the look to suit your space perfectly.

Every order is beautifully packed in our signature Ardor & Dust gift envelope.

Customisation & Refund Policy

Because each piece is made to order and fully customised, finished artworks are non-refundable.

Production & Shipping

Please allow up to 10 days for your artwork to be handmade before dispatch.

Each Ardor & Dust artwork goes through a detailed process—this includes adjusting your photo (colour enhancements, cropping to the right size, and minor corrections), professional printing, drying time, hand-placing the diamond dust, and allowing 3-5 days of curing.

📌Please note: This does not mean your artwork will always take the full 10 days.
There are various factors to consider, and this timeframe simply allows me enough space to ensure your artwork is created with care and completed within this window.

What Materials are Used?

Each piece is created using premium, genuine German Archival photo paper. To bring your memories to life with shimmer, I only used genuine European Glitters.

📌 Limited Daily Quantity

Due to the handcrafted nature of my work — and because I am the sole artist behind every Ardor & Dust piece — each size & style has a limited quantity available per day.

This ensures I can give every artwork the time, attention, and precision it deserves, and that your piece is created within the promised timeframe.

I update the available quantity daily, so if an item is sold out, please check back again tomorrow or feel free to contact me for assistance.

Care Instructions

Your artwork is handcrafted with real diamond dust. These materials are sharp, so please handle your piece with care.

To preserve the beauty and longevity of your Ardor & Dust piece, please follow these guidelines:

  • Frame your artwork promptly. 
  • Take caution when framing, cleaning, or dusting your artwork.
  • Slight shedding of diamond- dust is expected and natural.
  • Avoid touching the embellished areas directly.
  • Keep your artwork away from children and pets.
  • Display in a dry, safe place, away from humidity, direct moisture, near heat sources and sunlight to preserve its beauty.

Any misuse, alteration, or handling outside of its intended purpose is at the customer’s own risk, and Ardor & Dust is not liable for any injury or damage resulting from improper use.
