1. What photos can be transformed into sparkling art?
Almost any meaningful photo! From weddings, families, pets, babies and graduations to memorials, travel memories, portraits and special occasions.
2. What photos work best?
Bright, high-resolution photos with clear details, vibrant colours and good contrast create the best sparkle.
- Avoid screenshots, blurry images and predominantly black photos.
- Black-and-white photos are welcome.
- Clothing, accessories and textured details beautifully enhance the sparkle.
Please note: I usually highlight the main subjects and minimise background details. If you prefer certain elements to sparkle, simply let me know!
3. What sizes are available?
13 × 18 cm, A4, & 30 × 40 cm.

4. Can I customise the sparkle placement?
Absolutely! While I use my artistic discretion, I'm always happy to consider your preferences.
Full-page sparkle is currently available for 13 x 18cm only.
5. Is a frame included?
Frames are not included unless stated in the listing.
6. How is my artwork made?
Each piece is personally handcrafted using premium German archival photo paper and genuine European glass glitter, carefully applied by hand for a beautiful, diamond-like sparkle.
7. How long does production take?
Please allow 3–5 days before dispatch, including photo enhancement, printing, hand embellishment, drying and curing (1–3 days).
Every piece is made with patience and attention to detail.
8. How is my artwork packaged?
Your artwork is carefully packaged with love for safe delivery.
9. Do you accept returns or refunds?
As every artwork is personalised and made to order, refunds for change of mind are not available.
10. Why are quantities limited?
I'm the sole artist behind Ardor & Dust. To maintain quality, I accept a limited number of orders daily. Sold out? Please check back tomorrow!
11. How do I care for my artwork?
Your artwork is handcrafted with real diamond dust. These materials are sharp, so please handle your piece with care.
To preserve the beauty and longevity of your Ardor & Dust piece, please follow these guidelines:
- Frame your artwork promptly.
- Take caution when framing, cleaning, or dusting your artwork.
- Slight shedding of diamond- dust is expected and natural.
- Avoid touching the embellished areas directly.
- Keep your artwork away from children and pets.
- Display in a dry, safe place, away from humidity, direct moisture, near heat sources and sunlight to preserve its beauty.
